Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Provide basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and equipment
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate interaction
- Accurately complete patient care documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain DC CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset
- Ability to pass background check and health screening
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
