Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support nutritional needs during meal service
- Participate in care planning meetings and resident engagement activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or similar setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
