We're seeking compassionate CNAs passionate about geriatric care in Houston's top medical facilities. With shift options starting at 4-hour blocks, you can tailor your schedule around personal commitments. New graduates welcome – we provide paid orientation and mentorship programs!
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to elderly patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols
- Offer emotional support to patients and families during challenging transitions
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of geriatric care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Flexibility to work across multiple Houston-area locations
