Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Support nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding when required
- Maintain clean, organized resident environments and assist with light housekeeping
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient approach
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Proficient with electronic health record documentation systems
- Positive attitude and commitment to team-based care philosophy
