Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Transport residents to medical appointments and community activities
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and assist with light housekeeping duties
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or senior living experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about serving elderly populations with dignity
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
