Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions using electronic health records
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure injuries and falls
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision accurately and on schedule
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations following established protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff during shift reports and care planning meetings
- Support residents' emotional well-being through active listening and therapeutic communication
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
