Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precise documentation
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support residents with cognitive impairments using memory care techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs during night-time hours
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or memory care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Passion for geriatric care and commitment to resident dignity
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred for community transport
