Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care activities
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and care documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure patient safety through fall prevention and infection control protocols
- Serve as primary nighttime advocate for resident needs and preferences
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Passionate about geriatric and palliative care
- Valid Colorado driver's license preferred
