Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain resident safety protocols
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic resident wellness
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
