Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care during evening and overnight hours including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure injuries
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to resident call bells and emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care
- Prepare residents for morning routines and assist with medication administration
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and TB screening
