As a CNA on our night shift team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care during the overnight hours. We are committed to excellence and looking for candidates who share our passion for patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming residents/patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the registered nurse.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies during the shift.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Texas CNA License and CPR/BLS Certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend frequently throughout the shift.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient dignity and respect.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
