Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with therapeutic activities and patient rehabilitation programs
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and inventory supplies
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support patient education on health maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification required
- Minimum 1-year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
