Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care during overnight hours with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergent situations using evidence-based protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Mentor new staff members and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for ER roles)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Strong assessment skills with ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system or comparable platforms
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient acuity levels
