Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care providedAssist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
