Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walkers.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with sanitation and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Washington.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
