Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Take and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
  • Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walkers.
  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers and ensure comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Washington.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
