Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Utilize pharmacy software for record-keeping and prescription tracking
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy laws/regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
