Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and prepare IV solutions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Operate pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell) and automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal medication safety
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification or Texas Board of Pharmacy registration
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations in Texas
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and automated dispensing technology
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for medication compounding and dosing calculations
