Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain precise patient records and medication profiles using advanced pharmacy software
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., Omnicell, McKesson)
