Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and prepare prescriptions according to state and federal laws.
- Assist pharmacists in compounding and dispensing medications to patients.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and order pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving medication concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and staff training programs.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Missouri.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
