Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and aseptic techniques
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Manage surgical equipment and sterilization processes
- Document perioperative procedures accurately
- Collaborate with surgical team for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Graduate of accredited surgical technology program
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Texas state license in good standing
