Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile surgical environments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during complex procedures with instrument handling
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic techniques
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless operations
- Inventory and manage surgical supplies/equipment
- Document procedural details accurately
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
