Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to strict aseptic protocols
- Inventory and manage surgical equipment for optimal efficiency
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless perioperative care
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience preferred
- Graduate from accredited Surgical Technology program
- BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
