Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Count and document all surgical instruments and supplies
- Prepare patients for procedures and transport between departments
- Operate surgical equipment including endoscopic and robotic systems
- Manage inventory and sterilization processes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with general surgery, orthopedics, and specialty procedures
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
