Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse hospital settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and facility-specific policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications and state licensure
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (specialty certifications preferred)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
