Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility assistance as directed.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA Certification (R.N. license preferred but not required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) with assistance.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation (for facility travel if required).
