Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Document patient interactions and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients of varying weights.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Reliable transportation for travel to various facilities if required.
