About the Role:
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our patients, providing essential care and comfort. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist Patients: Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Vital Signs: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patient rooms are clean, sanitized, and comfortable; change linens as needed.
- Communication: Communicate patient concerns, changes in condition, or needs to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care logs.
- Assistance: Support patients with eating and drinking, and ensure they are properly positioned for comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- License: Must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients up to 50 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observation skills and the ability to follow strict medical protocols and safety regulations.
