Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and medications administered in accordance with facility protocols.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and individual care plans.
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong attention to detail.
