Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with ambulation, transferring, and positioning patients safely.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and physicians regarding patient needs.
- Ensure the patient room and common areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
