Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Implement and follow patient care plans under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
- Move and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and mobility aids.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and responses to treatment in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current, valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
