Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to wheelchairs.
- Assist the nursing staff with procedures and treatment plans as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current State of Tennessee CNA Certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
