Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with feeding and nutrition requirements as prescribed by dietary staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and composure.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory for top candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when assisting patients.
