Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring patients receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Assist patients with mobility by using walkers, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and administer medication as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not mandatory for applicants with no experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
