Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and record patient vital signs and daily activities accurately.
- Assist with Daily Living: Help patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility as needed.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure patients maintain personal hygiene and a clean living environment.
- Record Keeping: Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition in medical records.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and family members regarding patient status.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and healthcare regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Texas CNA license and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Prior experience in a nursing home, hospital, or assisted living facility is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
