Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and empathetic individual to join our healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of life through daily care and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Emotional Support: Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient care logs in compliance with facility policies.
- Medication Assistance: Support the nursing staff by administering medications as prescribed and observing for adverse reactions.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA Certification: Current and unencumbered Kansas State CNA license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
