Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations
- Assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patient families
- Document care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in facility or home care
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Proficient in basic medical terminology and documentation
- Reliable transportation to assignments
