Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient behavior, and medical observations
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and rehabilitation exercises
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in all care settings
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and activity engagement
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in clinical settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation systems
