Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patient daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and changes in condition
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records
- Safely transport patients within healthcare facilities using proper equipment
- Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in clinical setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to multiple Nashville healthcare locations
