Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and position changes
- Support patient hygiene and maintain clean, safe environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Respond to call lights promptly and address patient needs
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to Omaha healthcare facilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
