Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move safely from beds to wheelchairs or assist with ambulation to prevent falls.
- Communication: Serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the nursing staff by reporting changes in patient condition or mood.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure patient rooms and living areas are clean, organized, and sanitized according to health standards.
- Meal Assistance: Aid patients during meal times, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration while following dietary restrictions.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients who may be lonely or anxious.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current, active CNA license issued by the state of Arizona required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value attitude over experience. Entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for documentation; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and bend or stoop frequently.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
