Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or transfer equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients with special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; CNA Certification is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification through our training program (for true entry-level candidates).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly desirable.
