Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other health metrics
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Administer medications under nurse supervision as per facility protocols
- Respond to resident call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
