Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Transport patients to different areas of the facility, such as therapy or dining rooms.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the RN or LPN.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification through our sponsored training program.
- Strong compassion and patience when working with the elderly or disabled.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
