Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient room environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate patient status and changes to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior CNA experience is necessary; we are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or license within a specified training period.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
