Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident records
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and engagement activities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a senior care setting
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach to care
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
