Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a sterile environment
- Participate in shift handovers and report patient status changes promptly
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Florida RN license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
