Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and residents.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting and moving patients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine focus on patient well-being.
