Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Document patient care plans and report any changes in condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
