Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to report changes in patient condition.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures and medical equipment as directed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oregon State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (NAR).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
