Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature, reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and wheelchair usage to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility standards.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment at all times.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed personnel and document administration.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for home health roles).
